The Syria Report is the leading source of economic, business and financial information on Syria. The website features a large database of economic news, the only online directory of Syrian corporations, a weekly tenders list and an events section. The website is updated every Monday evening.

The Syria Report team also produces annual guides on specific business sectors that you can order in soft and hard copy through the website.

The Syria Report strives to provide editorial products of the highest quality and accuracy and is read by hundreds of decision-makers throughout the world. The publication is completely independent and has no links to any religious, social or political organisations. Our publishing company is The Middle East Information and Communication Agency (MEICA), which is headquartered in Paris, France, with sales and support presence in Beirut and Damascus. The publishing director is Jihad Yazigi.

Jihad Yazigi
Born in Beirut and raised in France, Jihad founded The Syria Report in 2001. He currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of the publication.

Lina Ibrahim
Born in Lvov, Ukraine, Lina contributed to several English language publications in Syria before joining The Syria Report in 2006. She currently holds the position of Assistant Editor-in-Chief.

Nisreen Al-Bawi
Originally from Hama, Nisreen is a graduate in English Literature from the University of Damascus. She joined The Syria Report early 2007 as its Sales Manager.
